About The Manila String Machine
The Manila String Machine is a professional music ensemble founded in 2008 by graduates of the University of the Philippines College of Music. It has established itself as a trusted and dependable music provider in the industry, specializing in custom string quartet and string orchestra performances. The group offers a versatile range of musical styles, from classical to modern genres including rock, pop, jazz, and contemporary music. They are recognized as one of the pioneering string quartets in the Philippines that perform modern music arrangements. The ensemble creates unique, intelligently crafted music through collaborative input from its members, exclusively using stringed instruments. They serve various events including corporate functions, shows, concerts, recordings, weddings, and social parties. The Manila String Machine provides different ensemble configurations: a standard string quartet (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello), a string quintet (adding piano, double bass, or percussion), a string six-piece ensemble (adding piano and double bass or double bass and percussion), and a full string ensemble with piano, double bass, and percussion for maximum versatility.
