Archipelago Builders Corporation

Archipelago Builders Corporation is a Philippine construction company established in 1965, originally operating as a general building construction firm. The company began modestly with rented office space in Manila and a separate warehouse and steel shop in Quezon City. Initially licensed as a Category C building contractor by the Professional Regulations Commission, it progressed to Class B general building contractor status. During 1975-1976, the company expanded its workforce, rented additional office space, and added more warehouse and shop facilities to serve both public and private sector clients. In 1977, it achieved Category A status as a general engineering and general building contractor, undertaking both horizontal and vertical construction projects. The company constructed its own 3.5-story headquarters building in Quezon City in 1979, which also housed diversified businesses including a restaurant, construction supply, and real estate operations. Its contractor category was upgraded to AA in 1987 and to AAA in 1998, during which it secured numerous projects across Metro Manila, Southern Luzon, and Visayas despite economic challenges.
