About Tabunoc National High School
Tabunoc National High School is a public educational institution operating under the Department of Education in the Division of Talisay City, Region VII, Philippines. Located within the Tabunoc Central School (elementary) compound in Tabunok, Talisay City, Cebu, it is classified as a large school. The campus has limited physical infrastructure, primarily consisting of a three-story Senior High School building containing six classrooms. Four of these rooms serve as specialized laboratories: a Science Lab, Computer Lab, and shops for Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) and Electrical Products Assembly and Servicing (EPAS). The remaining room functions as the administrative office. Historically, the school operated exclusively during nighttime hours starting in 1994 to serve working students within Talisay City. To facilitate this, it utilized classrooms borrowed from the adjacent elementary school after their daytime sessions. For the 2022-2023 school year, the school expanded to offer both day and night operations after securing the dedicated use of ten classrooms from Tabunoc Central School. The school reports an estimated annual student population of approximately 1,300. School administrators, faculty, and the local Barangay Tabunok and Talisay City government units are collaboratively pursuing the acquisition of a new, dedicated school site.
