The Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. (DMSFI) is a leading medical education institution in the Philippines, established in the early 1970s by a consortium of Davao doctors, educators, and religious organizations. Founded as the first medical school in Mindanao, it aims to serve the region through health science education. Over more than 40 years, DMSFI has grown into one of the nation's top-performing and globally competitive medical schools. It offers academic programs including the College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Nursing, College of Biology, College of Midwifery, and Postgraduate Studies. The institution operates the DMSFI Hospital, a 100-bed capacity tertiary care facility with private rooms, wards, and suite rooms, designed to provide quality healthcare and support medical education. Additionally, the Institute of Primary Health Care (IPHC), established in 1978, serves as its community service arm, focusing on primary health care training and sustainable livelihood projects in various regions.
