Virtualahan is a social enterprise focused on creating inclusive employment pathways for underserved communities. The organization works with jobseekers from marginalized groups including persons with disabilities, indigenous people, solo parents, and other underserved talents, while partnering with employers to build inclusive workplaces. Their approach combines digital skills training, psychosocial support, and employment matching services. For employers, Virtualahan offers strategy sessions, customized training programs, talent matching, and comprehensive audits of organizational processes and policies. For jobseekers, they provide five-week virtual training programs in digital marketing, data automation, generative AI, and graphic design through an accessible learning management system, along with well-being sessions led by licensed psychologists and employment support including job coaching and mentorship. The organization has created over 2,000 jobs with graduates employed by companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to SMEs and startups. Their impact includes a 94% reported increase in quality of life among alumni and an average income increase of 250% above minimum wage. Virtualahan has developed the first Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) certified learning management system in the Philippines and runs specialized programs for indigenous youth, persons deprived of liberty, recovering addicts, and out-of-school youth. They partner with organizations including Accenture, Microsoft, the World Food Programme, and various government agencies.
