MSU-University Training Center

The Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus in Marawi City is a comprehensive public university established in 1961 under Republic Act 1387. Founded by Senator Domocao A. Alonto, with Dr. Antonio Isidro as its first president, the university began operations in 1962 with 282 students and 19 faculty members. It serves as the flagship campus of the MSU System, which includes multiple campuses across the Philippines. The institution offers a wide range of academic programs through numerous colleges and departments, including Agriculture, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Fisheries, Forestry, Health Sciences, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Information and Computing Sciences, Law, Medicine, Natural Sciences, Public Affairs, and Social Sciences. The campus features extensive facilities such as lecture halls, gymnasiums, convention centers, libraries, conference rooms, hostels, and sports venues. It also maintains research centers, cultural institutions like the Aga Khan Museum, and various administrative and support units. The university focuses on higher education, research, extension services, and community development in the Mindanao region.
