About St. John's Institute (華明中學)
St. John's Institute, also known as Hua Ming, is a Chinese Catholic-inspired integrated school located in Bacolod City, Philippines. Founded by Msgr. John Liu and Msgr. John Su, it is the only institution of its kind in the city. The school offers a comprehensive educational program spanning pre-elementary, elementary, junior high school, and senior high school levels. It operates two campuses: the main campus at Capitol Shopping Center in Bacolod City and an additional campus at Ayala North Point in Talisay City. The school's mission is to teach students skills that enable them to transform themselves, others, and global communities, with an emphasis on inspiring students to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more in their life journeys. Key educational focuses include intellectual development through special classes, idea generation via a curriculum designed to encourage new ideas, global education to prepare students for worldwide engagement, and offering highly respected degrees accepted by colleges internationally.
