About Singapore School Cebu
Singapore School Cebu (SSC) is an international school located in Cebu, Philippines, established in 2010. It is the first and only provider in Cebu of the Singapore curriculum, covering PreSchool, Primary School, and Lower Secondary levels. SSC is a private, non-sectarian institution that also offers globally recognized university qualifications: the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Upper Secondary and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) for Pre-University. The school is an affiliate and sister school of Singapore School Manila. SSC distinguishes itself with a low teacher-to-pupil ratio of 1:5, creating a nurturing and conducive learning environment. It emphasizes a trilingual education in English (British), Mandarin, and Filipino. The campus has reached 90% of its full capacity since inception, reflecting its growing community. SSC is both an IB World School and a Cambridge International School, joining only 500+ campuses worldwide that offer both the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma. The school fosters a strong community spirit through events like the annual Goodwill Games, which promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride. It also implements initiatives such as the BYOR (Bring Your Own Reusable) program to encourage environmental responsibility. SSC's educational approach includes character-building programs like W.I.S.E.S. (Walking In Someone Else's Shoes), which exposes students to community service and social awareness. The school's SHOUTOUTs program focuses on developing mindsets like 'THINKERS IN ACTION' to prepare learners for a world with growing disruptions and AI advancements. Testimonials from alumni and parents highlight SSC's supportive environment, academic rigor, and emphasis on holistic development, with graduates attending prestigious universities globally. The school is currently accepting pupil applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
