About Philippine High School For The Arts
The Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA) is a public, non-secular, non-profit special educational institution established on June 11, 1977, dedicated to serving artistically gifted and talented adolescents. Located at the National Arts Center within the Cultural Center of the Philippines premises on the University of the Philippines property in Mt. Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna, it provides specialized arts education. The school offers five main courses of specialization: Dance (including Ballet and Folk), Creative Writing, Music, Theater Arts, and Visual Arts. It features various arts organizations exclusive to scholars in their respective fields and hosts events like NAC Sunrise, NAC Night, and performances across dance, music, and theater. PHSA operates as a boarding school, providing residential facilities for students to immerse in arts training and academic education.
