About Mater Carmeli School
Mater Carmeli School of Novaliches is a private Catholic educational institution founded in 1986 by the Carmelite Missionaries of the Province of Fr. Francisco Palau in Quezon City, Philippines. The school was established in response to community requests for a nearby, religiously managed school. It began with 20 kindergarten pupils and has since expanded to offer a complete K-12 education program, including grade school, junior high school, and senior high school with strands in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management). The school's mission is to provide holistic Christian education focused on developing students physically, intellectually, morally, and spiritually, inspired by the charism of Blessed Francisco Palau and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It aims to form students into 'small churches'—authentic Christians, responsible citizens, and stewards of God's creation. The campus features multiple buildings named after religious figures and benefactors, equipped with modern facilities to support quality education. The school emphasizes religious formation through recollections, retreats, sacraments, and community outreach, fostering a strong partnership with parents and alumni.
