About Davao Christian High School - V. Mapa Campus
Davao Christian High School operates two campuses in Davao City: the established V. Mapa Campus and the newer C.P. Garcia Campus, which opened in 2015. The institution serves approximately 2900 students across pre-school, elementary, and high school levels. While most students are of Filipino or Chinese descent, the school accepts students of other nationalities. The V. Mapa Campus, located downtown, has been operating for over 25 years and features facilities including a school auditorium, audio-visual room, covered court, two libraries, computer and science laboratories, and home economics rooms. The C.P. Garcia Campus offers a quieter, more spacious environment with green landscapes, views of Davao City, larger air-conditioned classrooms, a wider playground, and expanded parking. The school's vision is to be a premier educational institution producing God-fearing, dynamic leaders. Its mission is to provide a well-rounded Christian education to develop responsible, useful citizens with high Christian ideals. The school emphasizes cultivating both character and competence, built on three principal pillars: Academic Excellence, Basic Chinese (Mandarin) language instruction, and Christian Values. Student performance in national exams, university admissions tests, and interschool competitions ranks the school among the top in the area. Christian values are integrated into subject lessons, taught in dedicated classes, and promoted through special activities. The school also seeks staff who share its passion for serving God through education.
